Important Information

BPAA Slowpitch Softball Committee Meeting Monday July 6th. The next Slowpitch Committee meeting will be held on Monday July 6th at 8pm. The meeting location is Victory Grill (off Zane Avenue north of 610.) Along with regular business, we'll be discussing final plans for the upcoming Season End Tournament. If you have any thoughts to share, please plan on attending. We're also looking ahead to next year. The committee can use some new members - age group commissioners, and other directors openings need to be filled for 2010 - this is a good meeting to come to to meet the current members, get an idea of what is needed and even volunteer to help make the program stronger and better next year. We hope to see a lot of you there!

19U Games Scheduled for Tuesday June 16th will be rescheduled. Tentative date for the rescheduled games is Tuesday July 14th. Please stay in touch with your coach & commissioner as well as this page for further details.

Hot Weather

Games are typically played even in the hottest weather - and we are in the middle of a streak of hot days and nights. Be sure the girls get plenty of rest before the games and bring extra water to the games.

Rain-Out Policy

For age groups 10U - 19U, the umpire will make the final decision regarding rain delay's or calling games due to weather. Unless you hear from the BPAA softball commissioner to the contrary, you should plan on being at the field and ready to play. If the umpire does NOT cancel the game and a team is not ready to play, they will forfeit the game.

Since 8U does not use a paid umpire, decisions to delay or cancel games will be made by discussion between the two coaches. If a game is cancelled, the coaches need to agree on a make up date and notify Ed Ampe to have a field scheduled.

USSSA State Tournament

The USSSA State Tournament for 12U - 19U teams will be July 10-12. If you want to play, you must fill out and submit the USSSA State Tournament Berth Form - CLICK HERE - by June 12th.

BPAA End of Season Tournament

The BPAA End of Season Tournament will be held July 17, 18 and 19th
